There is a lot of money on the table right now with player prop bets for the NFL Divisional Round. With four games for the final time this season, there are some solid bets that we should have an eye on to make some extra bankroll.Â
Using NFL stats and a little bit of knowledge, we will be discussing a few player prop bets for this weekend’s games. All of these odds and numbers are via FanDuel so remember that these numbers and odds could vary a bit depending on where you place your wagers.Â
Tom Brady OVER 286.5 Passing Yards (-114)Â
This feels like the best bet as Tom Brady should need to drop back and throw the football incredibly well. Going up against these same Los Angeles Rams during Week 3, Brady finished with a season-high 432 passing yards. In fact, that was the most passing yards for him in a game since joining Tampa Bay.
The Rams are allowing 241.7 passing yards during the regular season and with the way this game plan seems to be heading. Brady is going to need to drop back and throw the football more than he did during the Wild Card Round as he threw for 271 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles and that was with them running the football after going up big. I expect 300 passing yards in this game despite losing Antonio Brown and Chris Godwin so go with OVER 286.5 passing yards here.
Aaron Jones OVER 50.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Aaron Jones should be able to run well enough in this game against the San Francisco 49ers in this game. Looking at his regular season statistics, Jones averaged 53.3 rushing yards per game on 11.4 rushing attempts.Â
The 49ers defense has been solid against the rushing attack as they are giving up 103.5 rushing yards per game during the regular season and 77 rushing yards during the NFC WIld Card Game against the Dallas Cowboys.Â
The lead running back should be able to run for 51 yards, despite sharing time with A.J. Dillon throughout this game. Green Bay should be able to have a double-digit point lead at times and that will force the game plan to run some clock out. All in all, go with Aaron Jones to rush for more than 50.5 rushing yards here.Â
Cooper Kupp UNDER 100.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Kupp finished with 61 receiving yards during the NFC Wild Card Game against the Arizona Cardinals. This number feels a little too high just off the number and the regular season that he had. He will be facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the defense will be focusing primarily on shutting him down.Â
The last time the Buccaneers allowed a receiver to hit over 100 receiving yards was against the New Orleans Saints on December 19 where Marquez Callaway finished with 112 receiving yards. Tampa Bay allowed Cooper Kupp to finish with nine receptions for 96 yards and a pair of touchdowns during Week 3 and he should finish with that as his ceiling.Â
If he scores touchdowns, it is not an issue but they need to make sure his yardage stays down. Go with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to limit Cooper Kupp’s ability in this game and go with UNDER 100.5 receiving yards.Â
Conclusion
These three player prop bets feel like three that should be able to cash and makes the game a lot more fun to watch. There are tens of hundreds of prop bets that will be available so scour through them and try to find some value outside of these as well.
Watching sports is always fun but when you have money riding on it, there is an extra level of thrill and that is what we have here so enjoy four NFL playoff games and let’s get some money.
